Air Rivals brings together the arcade style Flight Action game with the MMORPG. This combination makes Air Rivals a very unique game in the world of online games.

In essence, Air Rivals follows many of the tradition MMORPG patterns; you can take on quests, fight enemies and players, and purchase new skills and equipment as you gain in level. However, the difference here is that instead of creating a ‘character’, you are asked to select a GEAR from one of 4 available types, and allows you to customize them in countless ways by changing the equipment, upgrading the individual parts themselves, or even replacing the armor frame, drastically changing their appearance.

These GEARS have their own specializations that affect the very core of how you handle them. The I-Gear is the Interceptor, capable of high speed flight and hit-and-run tactics. The B-Gear is a Fighter/Bomber that is very versatile but can pack a powerful punch. The M-Gear plays the support role by repairing and empowering its allies. Lastly, A-Gear is the ground specialist that is equivalent to a tank and destroys it’s foes with its powerful cannons. 

The world of Phillon, the planet in which Air Rivals is set, acts as a stage for the nations of Arlington and Bygeniou to battle for supremacy. You are free to explore the alien world, take on missions, or join the constant, ongoing nation war where massive Outposts and Motherships are at stake. 

One of the most unique aspects of Air Rivals is how players are in full control of their aircraft in 360 degrees of space. No longer locked to the ground like most MMORPG’s, you can fly in any direction, as well as get attacked from any direction! This adds a whole new element as your actual flying ability and skill level can come into play, and survival is not just determined by how good your equipment is.
