Battlefield Play4Free is a free-to-play online first-person shooter by EA, drawing game elements from both Battlefield 2 and Bad Company 2. The game runs on a modified version of the Battlefield 2 engine, improving a lot of the graphics while reducing system requirements.
The game runs on the same model as Battlefield Heroes, providing a leveling system and in-game store. Players can level up and purchase new weapons, gadgets and skills for vehicles. The game offers a large array of weapons and armor to customize your layout and 16 vehicles to drive on any of the five currently available maps. Battlefield P4F updates some old classic maps from Battlefield 2 such as Strike at Karkand and Gulf of Oman, and does a very good job at improving some already brilliant maps.
