Killing Floor 2 is an action horror shooter and survival game in which players descend into continental Europe after it has been overrun by horrific, murderous clones called Zeds that were created by the corporation Horzine. The Zed outbreak caused by Horzine Biotech’s failed experiments has quickly spread with unstoppable momentum, paralyzing the European Union. Only a month ago, the first Zed outbreak from the original KILLING FLOOR ripped through London; now the specimen clones are everywhere. Civilization is in disarray, communication networks have failed, governments have collapsed, and military forces have been systematically eradicated.
The people of Europe are now focused on self-preservation, the lucky few who survived having gone into hiding. But not all have given up hope; a motley group of civilians, soldiers, and mercenaries have banded together to fight the outbreaks from privately funded bases across Europe. When a specimen clone outbreak is detected, the players are sent into Zed-laden hot zones to exterminate all threats using whatever means necessary. Welcome to the Killing Floor.
Killing Floor 2 Key Features
Diverse Cast Of Characters - Select from a number of amazing characters, each with their own skills, quirks, traits, and more. Each has a fighting style which makes them better suited to fighting certain kinds of Zeds, and others they are weak against. Know your limitations, and be prepared to face many types of Zeds, from the fast and lethal Siren to the slow and unstoppable Bloat.
Co-Op, Solo, or PvP Play - In either Co-Op or Solo mode, players engage hordes of AI controlled Zeds across multiple waves until they reach the boss or die trying. The players can select from a variety of perks, each with its own skills, powers, and weapons, in addition to choosing from among several playable characters with different appearances and personalities. Against the players are arrayed a multitude of Zeds, from lowly, slow clots to bosses like the mighty Patriarch. There iss also a PvP version of Survival for up to twelve players, in this mode two teams of up to six players each take turns playing humans vs. Zeds, each match lasting four waves plus a boss wave.
Loads Of Gear - As you play, you will be rewarded every so often with a variety of cosmetic items, from cowboy hats to suits of cardboard armor to neon colored weapon skins. There are hundreds of cosmetic items available in game and new ones are regularly added. Cosmetic items can be used to customize your appearance in game, traded to other players (PC only), or even broken down into crafting components to make other items. You can even craft your own very rare and special items!
