Outernauts

Clearly, the world just doesn’t have enough Pokemon clones – at least, that’s what Insomniac, developers of Ratchet & Clank, Spyro and Resistance seem to believe, as they’ve just released their first entry into the social gaming scene with Outernauts on Facebook.

This is not a good thing, and no amount of ‘but some people like social gaming’ is going to change our minds, either. Outernauts is a shameless copy of Pokemon that should have been destroyed during the concept phase. Of course, it wasn’t, because no matter how horrendous an idea might be, that’s no indication of how successful it will be. Personally, I’d wager that it’ll make more money that all three of their previous titles combined. It’s a funny ol’ world, ain’t it?
