The Park is a single-player, first-person psychological horror experience from Funcom which is set in The Secret World’s abandoned theme park off the Savage Coast. Funcom’s first single-player game since Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, The Park is the perfect game for a cold October night as it puts you directly in the shoes of a mother whose son has gone missing in an amusement park with a dark and sinister secret waiting to be uncovered. You may want to play this one with the lights on.
Amusement parks are happy places, filled with the innocent joys of childhood and the exhilarating rush of hair-raising, but safe adventure. Balloons, cotton candy and fantastic rides to be dared. Perhaps that is how Lorraine pictured it too when she brought her son Callum to one… just before it descended into the most terrifying nightmare of her life.
The Park Key Features
Explore Atlantic Island Park – Step onto rides such as the Ferris Wheel, the Bumper Cars and the Rollercoaster; just beware, some of them have a life of their own..
Enter the mind of Lorraine – A woman facing every parent’s worst nightmare. Unravel her story alongside the dark and tragic history of the park.
Interact – Call out for Callum to respond, and interact with the environment around you while examining clues and listening to Lorraine’s own inner voice as the game progresses.
Creepily Atmospheric – State of the art graphics and audio deliver a uniquely atmospheric setting rich in mood and mystery, developed by a team of award-winning AAA developers.
