Sony buys rights to Rollercoaster Tycoon from Atari
Reuters reports today that Sony Pictures Animation has purchased the rights to Rollercoaster Tycoon from Atari.
Chris Sawyer created the game for MicroProse in 1999, putting players into a simulator that gives them the keys to the amusement park. Beyond the day to day operation of the game, players can build out of this world roller coasters and then ride them to their heart’s content.
