Hello Kitty Online is a cute MMO based on wildly popular Sanrio characters like Hello Kitty, Badzt-Maru,Keroppi and many others.Hello Kitty Online combines the massive popularity of online role-playing games with social networking, all set in Sanrio Land, the virtual world of Hello Kitty and friends.
Players begin by creating their own unique avatar in Hello Kitty Online. In order to advance through the massive map locations, players will need to complete different adventures and missions, learn crafting and farming skills to get the Magic Keys which unlocks the Sanrio characters in peril.
Create and decorate your own dream house in Sanrio Land. Earn in-game cash by farming and harvesting crops. Battle with agressive monsters that drop pet cards. Turn these monsters to be your pets which will increase the owner's stats.
The community system allows players to join and create guilds to viewing blogs, videos, play mini-games while in Sanrio Land as well as sending emails too.
New installer and new zone: the Dream Carnival
A new 140 MB installer with exciting new content for players to enjoy while they download Hello Kitty Online is now available! That’s right: you can now download HKO and play at the same time!
The Dream Carnival is a brand new starting zone with its own story, quests, items, mini-games and features. In the Dream Carnival you will meet some of your favorite Sanrio characters and familiarize yourself with the basics of HKO while interacting with other players.
Even better, playing through the Dream carnival can earn your character a lot of goodies: when you leave the Dream Carnival you will be receive rewards based on your achievements in one of the final quests in the area.
While you explore the Dream Carnival, our nifty client will download the full HKO game in the background!
There are a few limitations:
This is a newbie zone and can only be accessed by new characters. Once you decide to leave the Dream Carnival, you cannot come back. Also, you cannot carry items and money out of the Dream Carnival (you can, however, receive various goods for your new character depending on how well you did in the Dream Carnival).
How to get to the Dream Carnival
New players just need to download and install our new 140 MB installer then log in using their SanrioTown login details. That’s it!
Players who already have HKO installed can access the Dream Carnival by updating their game clients to version 1.9.0.0.0. Launch HKO as usual, and click the “Get Patch” button when you come to the window size selection screen.
Then simply start a new character and enter the game. If you don’t want to delete your existing character to make a new one, you can simply register a new SanrioTown account.
