Guild Wars 2 is a dynamic fantasy MMORPG by ArenaNet. Today, publisher NCSoft and the developer announced that starting from today GW2 will support Mac OS® X. Anyone who purchases Guild Wars 2 will have access to a beta version of Guild Wars 2 Mac.

The Mac client is still being optimized by ArenaNet, and even though it’s a beta version it is connected to the live servers – allowing both PC & Mac players to play together seamlessly. Players can access the Mac version of the Guild Wars 2 in the account management page. The Mac client is available because of a company called TransGaming, who by using Cider technology will be able to help ArenaNet deliver future updates and patches to both Windows and Mac users simultaneously – great news for everyone involved.
