Flyff players have spent the last thirteen weeks competing in PvP tournaments for their chance at the Flyff World Tournament. The developers of Flyff, gPotato, are offering players the chance to win a $100,000 cash prize and a trip to G-Star 2011; the biggest gaming convention in Korea. On the 24th of September the Flyff World Championship began broadcasting all over the world.

SOD an NA wildcard team went up against Spanish guild HEROES in the first round. In a match comprised of eight players to each side competitors fought in a never-before-seen PvP arena. SOD triumphed over HEROES and now two members will have the chance to represent the US. Top-ranked guild Invictus now prepares to match up against Brazil on the 30th of September at 6PM PST.
The match will be broadcast live on the FWC Livestream on Justin.tv, the matches will be recorded so anyone who won’t have a chance to watch can still see the action. If you aren’t one of the competitors in the tournament don’t worry, you won’t miss out on all the fun as starting from tomorrow the 28th of September 2011 players will receive a free gift every day that they log in. The rewards range from rare pets to a Mocomochi. Players will also receive a prize for every level they gain during the giveaway period.

To make the most of this gPotato has put into effect double xp, meaning there will be plenty of chances to receive some cool items! The event is set to run until October 31st, giving players a week to collect as many gifts as possible and to try get their Mocomochi!
