There are only so many stories in this world that have have been told, these few stories have been told in countless variations by writers all over the world. Every story branches from these core plots and certain characters and ideas have provided a reoccurring theme amongst many stories.

The Missing Ink is an upcoming Free to Play Multi-Themed 3D  MMORPG that features these very legends and fairy tales, but they aren’t quite right. An evil force has taken to turning all these stories upside down, the knight in shining armor is missing, the damsel in distress is actually quite happy and the star-crossed lovers really just aren’t digging each other. Players must set things right and restore balance and order to the world.

Kerry Fraser-Robinson, RedBedlam’s Managing Director commented, “leave me alone —œ I’m busy.”  Later, he somewhat more constructively added, “Oh for the press release? Right. Let me see. Tell them it’s funny. Ground-breaking. Innovation oozing from every pixel. A showcase for our artistic talent and technical expertise. And it’s free.”

Not only will players participate in traditional questing, dungeons and MMORPG gameplay, they will also be able to shape their own part of the world. Each player is given their own personal space to build and create whatever they like with easy, simple to use tools. 

The game is available for download on PC and MAC, players can also play through their browser with the Unity 3D web plugin. The Missing Ink will run an open Alpha promotion in December, a beta test in early 2012 and a scheduled release date of Q3 2012.
