Frogster has announced that their upcoming free-to-play fantasy MMORPG, Eligium – The Chosen One, has now officially entered open beta. Players can now try out this highly-anticipated MMO for themselves. The open beta is set to run for the next few weeks while Frogster analyses player activity and bug reporting. The most active players will even receive some special rewards.
During the open beta and initially on official launch, ELIGIUM will only be available in English. Shortly after however the game will also be released in German, Polish and French. Frogster has announced an interesting fact, the amount of text waiting to be translated is four times the amount of text in the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy. As promised, all characters created in the open beta will not be wiped and will be available still upon official launch.
Get a head start on other players, begin your crazy levelling before the game even launches and perhaps even get a few weeks ahead of your friends. Everyone loves to be the high level guy that gets to boss around their noob friends! Besides a great head-start, the community managers of ELIGIUM have also organized several in-game events.
