KoramGame Announces Checkmate
Checkmate features a campaign system in which players can battle all across Europe on a variety of historical battlefields. Fight in legendary battles such as The Siege of Leningrad, The Battle of Stalingrad and The Belorussian Offensive. Defeat NPC armies while gaining valuable combat experience and rewards, propelling a players campaign for victory forward. For those who feel battle-ready and wish to take on more serious opponents, the game offers more than a mere campaign.
The City War feature is quite possibly the most intense feature in Checkmate, allowing players to battle for control over NPC cities littered across the persistent map. Once players have developed their main city into a prosperous military power, they may begin claiming sub-cities alongside their legion and allies. Allies are important in Checkmate, and so is the player’s General who can be improved through Checkmate’s General System and made tougher with the Equipment System. Checkmate is currently preparing for beta, head on over to the official site to sign up.
