Guild Wars 2 is an upcoming, dynamic fantasy MMORPG by ArenaNet. To the disappointment of many, the Beta Weekend Event 2 was delayed recently in order to upgrade hardware and fix some important outstanding issues. Now however, as we await a response from the developers, we finally have news that brings joy to fans across the world. Guild Wars 2 Beta Weekend Event 2 is coming, and it is coming very soon!
Chris Whiteside, lead producer of Guild Wars 2 says, “We have listened intently to all of your feedback from our first Beta Weekend Event, and we’ve made great strides toward resolving many of the issues you’ve helped us identify. These include party movement into overflow servers, chat functionality, key bindings, server stability, performance, and many more that we will detail in the near future.”
Beta Weekend Event 2 will begin on Friday, June 8th at 12:00PM PDT (GMT-7) and will continue through to Sunday, June 10th at 11:59PM PDT. EPIC! Except for the fact that MMOGames will be at E3 while all you guys are enjoying yourselves in Guild Wars 2 (Oh well!). What’s more exciting than this announcement however is the confirmation that beta characters have not been wiped. So enjoy the beta weekend, and if you are lucky enough to be level 35 or higher, don’t forget to check out the new explorable version of Ascalonian Catacombs dungeon.
