Embers of Caerus, an upcoming low-fantasy medieval sandbox MMORPG, recently kicked off a feature week. What is a feature week? According to developer Forsaken Studios, it’s a week where they will release several new videos about features of the upcoming sandbox MMO. David returns today with Video 2, detailing more about the Dynamic Event Team (DET) and their role in EoC’s game world.
It’s one thing to introduce a simple dynamic event system in to your game, but it will never be as complex as a human-controlled environment. Having a team at the ready, constantly observing and poking, prodding the world along in a different direction. Forsaken Studios are definitely ambitious in doing this, but then again, what about this project isn’t ambitious?
