Game of Thrones: Seven Kingdoms is an upcoming, free online browser based low fantasy MMORPG by Bigpoint. Based on the popular book series, A Song of Ice and Fire, HBO has commissioned Bigpoint to adapt the books/show in to an online virtual world. We’ve already expressed our worry and disappointment in the lack of resources being assigned to this project, as it is easy to see how potentially huge and epic a GoT MMORPG could be, especially a sandbox.
You’re all probably as worried as we are, but without further delay, check out the new teaser trailer which has been released by Bigpoint. Are we being bitter and cynical? Or do you feel the same? We would like to hope that we aren’t the only ones who want to see so much more from a video game adaption of such an epic fictional world. A browser based MMO just doesn’t feel like it will cut it, and what we’re seeing here just doesn’t get us excited. Let us know your thoughts, we’re very interested in hearing them!
