The personal crowdfunding picks up right where the Kickstarter campaign left off, with over €560k in support and over 8k backers to successfully fund initial development of the sandbox. The stretch goals from the original campaign are intact, with Construct vs. Construct combat up next at the €650k milestone.

Just as before, crowdfunding tiers range from €16 Iron Tier all the way up to a €7,000 Kyrium Pack, which includes perks such as a lifetime subscription, access to every game build and various pieces of physical swag. Supporters from Gold Tier and up will get access to the title starting in alpha, while Silver Tier opens up the closed beta.

Information about Dual Universe and its open crowdfunding can be seen on the official site.

Our Thoughts

Dual Universe had a steady climb through its initial crowdfunding campaign, so we anticipate the same will hold true for the private crowdfunding portal. We’ll definitely be keeping an eye on the development of this anticipated sci-fi sandbox.
