As of tomorrow, the infamous Diablo 3 Auction House feature will be removed from the game entirely. It has stopped functioning since March, and both the players and the developers will be relieved once it is completely removed by June 24th 2014. This extra time for the Auction House to remain open was for players to retrieve their items, money or gold they had left in the system.
Blizzard has admitted that the whole idea of adding an auction house was good at first, but in the end it was plagued by a wide range of bugs and exploits, including one fairly major gold duping trick. If you have left a considerable amount of money on your auction house, it is definitely worth a login to retrieve it. As of tomorrow, it will be completely gone. And according to Blizzard, if you don’t pick up your stuff, everything will be gone FOR GOOD.
