Starting on February 18, Xbox One players will have exclusive access to The Division Open Beta.
Things aren’t completely grim for PlayStation 4 and PC owners, however, as both will also gain access to The Division Open Beta on February 19. Once the Beta begins on each specified platform, there will be no restrictions and everyone will be able to play for free.
Furthermore, participants will receive a special in-game item for their help with testing once The Division officially launches. In addition to the content that was available in the Closed Beta, a new mission will also be unlocked in the Open Beta that allows players to further explore their objective of taking back New York.
The Open Beta for The Division will end on February 21 and the game will officially release on March 8, 2016.
The Division has been one of the most hyped MMORPGs this year, but after the fiasco with the Closed Beta, Ubisoft really needs to pull things together for the flood of participants in the Open Beta.
