E3: Xbox Press Conference Roundup for the MMO Player

We were expecting, and hoping to see some MMO titles at the Xbox Press Conference today but we were let down. On the plus side this looks to be the year of multiplayer! With everything from Project Spark to Assassin’s Creed on display for us. On the non-MMO side of things Halo has announced the Master Chief Collection which is due out this November, a new Lara Croft game is expected, and they even gave a little bit of time to the indie games.

New gameplay footage was also shown for The Division which is being released in 2015. New content for The Division will be made available on Xbox one first. Don’t worry if you missed out on seeing The Division, Ubisoft already has it online!

EA’s Press Conference will be starting very soon so be sure to come back after that for a brief look at what they announce.

EA’s press conference is now over! See the MMO highlights here!

About Shannon Doyle

Shannon first discovered MMOs in 1999 when she picked up the newly launched Everquest. This started a lifelong love affair with online gaming that has taken her around the world and brought her to MMOGames.com. While she still pines for the streets of Paragon, the City of Heroes, today she spends most of her gaming time walking across Tyria in Guild Wars 2, roleplaying with anyone who says hello.
