EVE Abandoning Twice a Year Update Schedule

As you may have guessed by now this weekend is EVE Fanfest 2014. We’ve already had news of a new PC MMOFPS headed our way, and the statue dedicated to players has gone up, but now CCP has told Polygon that they are abandoning the twice a year expansion schedule for a 10 updates a year model. The latest expansion is called Kronos and will be the turning point when it releases June 3rd.

“It’s going to change everything. It’s going to allow us to respond quicker. It’s going to allow us to actually take more risk in a good way.” CCP CEO Hilmar Veigar Pétursson told Polygon in an interview. To see more of what he had to see check out the full article on Polygon.
