For Honor Open Beta Weekend Begins

Internet Vikings, digital Knights, virtual Samurai; now is the time to decide whose sword is bigger. The For Honor open beta has begun today on all platforms and runs through this entire weekend.

The open beta weekend will feature four modes and nine heroes, which falls a bit short of the five modes and 12 heroes that will launch with the final game. The modes available during the beta will be Elimination, Dominion, Brawl and Duel.

Those who are interested in hopping into the virtual battlefield can do so on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 now. The open beta runs from today, February 9th through Sunday, February 12th. For Honor’s final release is scheduled shortly after on February 14th. More details can be found here.

Our Thoughts

For Honor looks like one of the more visceral MOBA-style games arriving, so we’re definitely curious to know how players will take to the open beta. With only a few days until final launch, this is likely going to be the best way for players to know if For Honor is going to be a hit or a miss.

Your Thoughts

Are you going to take part in the For Honor open beta? Have you already pre-ordered the game? Will you be waiting on final reviews instead? Let us know in the comments.
