MMO Shooter Tom Clancy’s The Division Announced at E3 2013

Tom Clancy’s The Division is an upcoming MMO shooter from Ubisoft that was recently announced at E3 2013 in Los Angeles. The game is set in New York, 3 weeks after a deadly pandemic hit the city on Black Friday. The announcement came with a gameplay reveal.

While not much is known about The Division yet, we do know that there will be no classes, a flexible build system, instanced encounters, and group based content. While there will be plenty around to encourage gamers to team up, Ubisoft stated that the game was designed with solo play in mind. What was most surprising is that The Division will be available on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and will feature a companion app for smart phones and tablets.

Players take on the role of a member of a classified unit of tactical agents known as The Division. This group of operatives are trained to work independently of command in case everything falls apart. Players will fight for a fallen society, unravel an epic conspiracy, and discover the secrets behind this manmade disease. For more info visit the official site.
