Cryptic Studios and publisher Perfect World Entertainment have announced the newest module for Neverwinter. Coming later this year, brace yourself for Neverwinter: Elemental Evil.
Set in the Dungeons & Dragons Forgotten Realms universe from Wizards of the Coast, Cryptic Studios has several additions slated for the year. Additions coming up this year include Strongholds (the Neverwinter version of guild housing) and some more well-known characters from Dungeons & Dragons lore. Most importantly they are also bringing the latest playable class, Paladins!
Healing or tanking, there’ll soon be the option to smite in the name of the Gods.
The module will raise the level cap in Neverwinter from 60 to 70 which also means new quests, new character feats and slottable class powers.
The module also represents the ongoing efforts from Cryptic and Perfect World Entertainment to release in step with Wizards of the Coast and the officially released D&D storylines. So Neverwinter players will journey through new adventures as they fight the newest threat to Protector’s Enclave – the Cults of Elemental Evil – which are also present in the upcoming tabletop adventure release, Princes of the Apocalypse.
Redwood City, which is a campaign area name if ever there was one, will have more news to come as we approach the launch of Elemental Evil and the launch of Neverwinter on Xbox One. Keep your eyes peeled.Cryptic Studios, Expansion, Neverwinter, News
