Razer have revealed their next edition of the Deathadder line with the introduction of the Deathadder Elite eSports mouse, stated to continue the Deathadder’s reign as the best gaming mouse in the world.
The Deathadder Elite sports a new Razer 5G optical sensor that can track up to 16,000 DPI at 450 inches per second and a 99.4% resolution accuracy. In layman’s terms, it marks new standards for accuracy and speed for the line.
The new Deathadder also introduces a mechanical switch developed in conjunction with Omron, a major mouse switch supplier. The new mechanical switch inside the mouse is built to increase response time and withstand upwards of 50 million clicks.
The Deathadder Elite retails for $69.99 and is set to release sometime in October, with pre-orders available now. Those who would like to tour the features of the peripheral can do so on the Razer website.
Lots of new gaming mice have made the scene in the past few months, so it was likely only a matter of time before Razer decided to throw its hat in to the ring. The Deathadder is one of the most recognized names in gaming peripherals, so we’re curious to know if the new Deathadder Elite can continue the tradition of the line and stand up to the new contenders.
