The WarZ has had it’s fair share of controversy lately with claims of fraud and shady business practices, and many owners of the game in an outrage over the actions of developer Hammerpoint Interactive. It started when The WarZ was made available on steam, with a feature list promising features that weren’t actually in the game.
After the listing was made, many began to petition Valve asking them to remove The WarZ from Steam altogether – this, along with a whole list of other shady moves has branded the company as untrustworthy. Steam were quick to respond, releasing a public apology and stating that the game would no longer be sold on Steam until the developer improves.
