It seems there is a convention for everything these days, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Sure, we will probably skip the Underwater Music convention and we still aren’t sold on the Baby jumping festival, but a Twitch convention sounds like a pretty good idea. Lucky for us, that’s exactly what we will be getting this year.
Twitch has announced it will be partnering up with ReedPOP to organize the inaugural TwitchCon. The convention will be taking place on September 25th through the 26th and will be located at the Moscone Center in San Francisco California. Attendees will have the chance to network with each other and meet some their favorite broadcasters. Twitch has stated there will be plenty of exciting events planned throughout the event. For those involved in the Twitch community, TwitchCon is looking like a great opportunity for a much needed summer vacation

“Twitch broadcasters have the most passionate fans, so we want to create an amazing experience where they can come together in person, TwitchCon will be an opportunity for the entire community – broadcasters, game developers, viewers, and us – to play and learn together.”
