Character Development - In game, players are introduced to the cultivation conversion system. This system promotes the growth of a character, as they are used to enhance internal skills and martial arts moves. The conversion rate varies per situation and depending on the activity the player has engaged himself in; the more you do something, the better you become at doing it.
Reputation System - In Age of Wushu, your reputation reflects on how your character is seen in public, but it does not affect your fighting skills. It does however affect how NPCs interact with you. The way you treat NPCs reflects back on your reputation as well, if you do or do not help them, these events are related back to your reputation. This is a direct record of what you have achieved in Age of WuShu.
Diverse Crafting Careers - Be a Miner, a Tailor, a Musician, a Chess Master, and many others! Careers are practiced and gradually mastered over time via in-game events and quests. Mastering skills is exhausting work, and as such you can only train them so much each day!
