Hunt: Showdown, formerly known as Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age, is a competitive first person shooter where you take on the role of a bounty hunter, hunting down monsters in the darkness of the Louisiana swamps. Survival horror meets match-based shooter and the stakes have seldom been higher. There are nightmarish monsters roaming the bayous of Louisiana, and you are paid handsomely for destroying them. With the rewards from your grim work, you can purchase new and better weapons and gear, and take on ever more dangerous - and higher paying - bounties. However, death is a very real risk, and you risk everything every time you stalk a target.

Hunt: Showdown Key Features

Death Hurts - Death in Hunt: Showdown is serious, but not crippling. Even the best bounty hunters often fall to the claws of their prey; should this happen, you will lose all your money and gear, but not your experience.

Unique PvE / PvP Blend - Up to five teams of two players enter a match, stalking a single bounty. However, once a team of hunters defeats one of the monsters, they also become targets! The risks - and rewards - are high.

Progress Is Saved - Even if you should fall, your experience earned is not lost. If your character dies, you lose their money and gear, but their experience is transferred to your Bloodline, where it can be applied your other Hunters.

Track Your Targets - You can always use Dark Sight to track down your targets, following a ghostly glow toward them. This light tracks not only monsters, but also other players with bounties.
