Defiance

Fan Made: Blaugust

All throughout August MMO bloggers are joining forces for a new blogging initiative called Blaugust. You don’t have to blog about gaming but the majority of the bloggers taking part are part of the MMO blogger crowd.

What are they doing? Every day in August they’re blogging! Why? To get people to blog. It really is a simple idea. A motivation to blog. The entire thing is being run by Belghast from Tales of the Aggronaut. He’s tracking blog entries and will be giving away some awesome games to people who take part.

There are already more than 30 people taking part. Many of whom have already completed their first entry for Blaugust. Many of them seem to be talking about Vanguard which sadly shut down yesterday. Belghast is inviting anyone and everyone to take part. The entire thing is being managed through Anook, so if you’d like to sign up to be a part of it you still can by heading over to the Nook for Blaugust and get started! Also be sure to check out the blogs of those taking part, all of which are listed below.

About Shannon Doyle

Shannon first discovered MMOs in 1999 when she picked up the newly launched Everquest. This started a lifelong love affair with online gaming that has taken her around the world and brought her to MMOGames.com. While she still pines for the streets of Paragon, the City of Heroes, today she spends most of her gaming time walking across Tyria in Guild Wars 2, roleplaying with anyone who says hello.
