Runes of Magic is a free-to-play fantasy MMORPG deemed to be the free World of Warcraft. Today, publisher Frogster announced new details about the upcoming fifth chapter for RoM. This highly-anticipated installment will feature two brand new classes, the Champion and the Warlock. Frogster has been kind enough to reveal a few details in regards to what players can expect from these new classes.
The Champion and Warlock classes will only be available to the Dwarves, and yes everyone who hates playing a Dwarf as much as I do, I feel your pain! The Champion class possesses a unique ability which allows players to transform into a Runic Robot. This form allows for additional magic spells and attacks that are quite useful for melee combat, making the Champion a very effective tank.
The Warlock on the other hand prefers long-range attacks and sapping enemies of their strength. Through intense experimentation with the dark magic of the Shadowforge Dwarves, Warlocks have evolved into powerful spellcasters. With this power, Warlocks are capable of devastating destruction and much needed support for allies.
