If the information coming from Digital Extremes has gotten you curious about its new FPS/CCG combination title The Amazing Eternals, you’ve now got two possible avenues to check it out: the start of The Amazing Eternals closed beta test and the opportunity to buy Founder’s Packs.
As mentioned before, closed beta is on offer for free by signing up to the game’s official website and hoping to be among those selected, or by purchasing one of five different Founder’s Packs that have become available as of the start of beta.
Each pack offers instant access to the closed beta, along with a variety of benefits like unique skins and voice packs for the character Ray, additional beta access keys to give to friends, physical board game pieces of Ray, a number of tokens to use in the in-game store, and a seat on the Design Council, which affords you a chance to vote on designs, features, and names in the game. Packs range in price from $19.99 to a staggering $1,000.
If you’re still not completely sure about whether to sign up or buy in, the start of closed beta also brought a trailer showcasing the abilities of the game’s starting Eternals while showcasing additional gameplay. That video can be seen below.
$1,000?? Well…sticker shock notwithstanding, we are still curious to learn about The Amazing Eternals. That said, there hasn’t been quite a lot of information offered about this game to really warrant buying in at any price as of yet, and the competitive online FPS scene is incredibly tight right now. We’re definitely looking forward to finding out more.
