Digimon Masters Online is a free to play MMORPG currently in Pre-CBT. Tamers have shown an overwhelming response to the English localization and this has caused Joymax to effectively extend their Pre-CBT to September 6th, to allow Tamers to continue squashing bugs.
Joymax extends Digimon Masters Online Pre-CBT
Today Joymax made the following announcement, "Due to the overwhelming response that we experienced from everyone, and at the request of most Tamers, we would like to inform all you that the Pre-CBT will be extended until September 06, 2011 this is our way to say thank you to all of you who patronize Digimon Masters Online and also to further check and re check all problems that you may encounter within the game, this is due to the fact that we want to give an excellent service to all of you."
With hopes that the extra testing time will allow the developers to provide a better overall experience in CBT, players are urged to continue playing and re-testing all the bugs they have found. This extension comes at the request of the players, and it is to be expected Joymax would listen with all the issues they have been having lately with the game.
After a lengthy delay, an almost complete media blackout on the status of the game and a declining community; things almost went sour. Could this have worked in their favour though? The Pre-CBT so far seems very polished, and the channels are bustling with Tamers from all over the world.
