Owners of the Xbox One console can now pre-download the free-to-play MMORPG Neverwinter, based on the Dungeons & Dragons franchise, to their consoles. The game will be launching on the Xbox One on March 31st to the digital Xbox Games Store, so this pre-loading gives players a chance to hop right in once the Xbox One integration goes live.
Neverwinter brings a full role playing experience to the Xbox One with the fast paced combat of the MMORPG converting exceptionally well to console controllers as it features a wonderfully streamlined ability system and easily navigated UI. The Xbox One version of Neverwinter will fully integrate Xbox One friends lists and optimize controls to easily bring the MMO over to the console.
The MMO has come a long way since its free-to-play launch for the PC back in June 2013 with new classes and expansions coming out with consistency. While Neverwinter may be close to 2 years old now, it is one of the MMOs which has aged well and still maintains a decent crowd of players who thoroughly enjoy the high-fantasy world that Perfect World Entertainment has crafted.
Xbox One players of Neverwinter will require an Xbox Live Gold membership (which is sold separately to the game) to be able to access the servers and can pre-download the game from here as of today.Related: F2P, MMORPG, Neverwinter, News, Perfect World Entertainment, Xbox One
