Scythe is a strategy game, based on a popular board game of the same name, set in an alternate history version of Eastern Europe in the aftermath of the First World War. You choose one of these nations - Polonia, Saxony, Crimea, Nordic, and Rusviet - and fight for control of "The Factory", an independent city-state which emerged during the first war. The Factory produces the hulking mechs used on the battlefields of Scythe, and these technological marvels now clank across the snowy battlefields of Europe, waging war. Lead your mechs to war and your people to victory, and become the most powerful nation in all of Europa!
Scythe Key Features
Choose Your Faction - Choose to play as the Saxony Empire, Crimean Khanate, Rusviet Union, Polania Republic or Nordic Kingdom. Each nation begins with unique strengths and resources, and offers different strategic options.
Multiplayer Or Vs. AI - You can play against other players in fun real time matches, or you can face off against two difficulty levels of AI. Whatever you choose, the game will be intense and fun.
Play To Win - To achieve ultimate victory, you will need to explore and conquer new lands, enlist and train new recruits, and skillfully manage your resources and your military forces, particularly your combat Mechs.
Advance As You Advance - As your nation progresses, your capabilities will progress too. You will be better able to recruit and train troops, you will unlock new troops and abilities, and your mechs will become even more fearsome.
Varied Objectives - Every player has, of course, the primary objective of winning the game. However, each player also has individual objectives to achieve, and random encounters offer a bit of unpredictability and fun!
