411,000 users of furry sex game High Tail Hall are learning today that they’ve been victims of a massive security breach. They’ve had their email addresses, physical addresses, IP addresses, names, orders, salted SHA-1, and salted MD5 hashes taken in the data leak. Thankfully, no financial data was compromised.

The breach happened in August of 2018 on an older version of their website that High Tail Hall is no longer using. They upgraded to a newer website with a much more advanced and stable security system.

HTH Studios, the makers of High Tail Hall have advised all of their players to update their account passwords just to be safe. They’ve also been in touch with their security professionals, developers, legal counsel, and law enforcement.

The studio only found out about the data breach when they were informed by Troy Hunt, the owner of Have I Been Pwned, the website that allows users to check if their personal data has been compromised in data breaches. The data has only recently surfaced on a popular hacking forum.

If you have a High Tail Hall account, even if it’s one you don’t use anymore this is a great time to change the passwords not only for the game but also for your personal email account. In fact, chances are you haven’t changed your email password in a while so you should go do that now.

It’s unlikely that anything further will come from this breach, but, if you’re interested in staying up to date with the latest goings-ons be sure to follow HTH Studios on Twitter where they’re rather vocal and oh so very NSFW. Yes, you can find furry porn thee and yes, there’s a bit of regular porn too. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
