The somewhat strange relationship between Batman and Fortnite dates back to 2019, when Gotham City found itself sucked into the Fortnite universe. Since then, the two worlds have been linked. Is this a match made in heaven spawned by a genius collaboration of IPs? Or is it the craziest move for Batman since George Clooney’s nipple suit? Is it both? We think it’s both.

Either way, the collaboration is persisting with a six-part series of crossover comics set for release on 20th April entitled Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point. To stoke the anticipation for this, DC has been unveiling main and variant cover art, including this most recent one from Jim Lee, Scott Williams and Alex Sinclair (no, not that Alex Sinclair).

BATMAN/FORTNITE: ZERO POINT

There are plenty of artists working on variant covers for the comic series, including Arthur Adams and Sabine Rich, Dan Mora (Detective Comics), and Amanda Conner (Harley Quinn, Harley Quinn and the Birds of Prey), with the main covers being provided by Mikel Janin.

Plus, Fortnite CCO, Donald Mustard, is set to release an extremely rare and highly collectible variant cover for each issue - with fans being urged to check with their local comic stores for details and availability.

Each issue will provide readers - whether physical or via DC Universe Infinite - with codes redeemable for exclusive Fortnite items inspired by the Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point storyline. Plus, those who collect all six issues of the series will earn themselves an Armoured Batman Zero skin.

From 20th April, each issue of Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point will drop fortnightly - an opportunity that we’re very glad they didn't miss. Each issue will sell for $4.99 with card stock variant cover versions available for $5.99. So if you’re a Fortnite fan that wants to dabble in some DC, it might be worth checking out DC Universe Infinite or heading down to your local comic book store to check out the series for yourself.
