Mu Origin 2 - mobile spinoff for Mu Online and sequel to Mu: Origin has today unveiled its 5.2 update. The gaudy mobile MMORPG from WEBZEN is a global champion of the Korean MMORPG format and for two years has proven incredibly popular with a global audience. In fact, in just a few days, Mu Origin 2 is set to celebrate its two-year anniversary with a bang. So make sure to save some room for birthday cake. And the inevitable smorgasbord of in-game rewards and prizes, of course.

In preparation for the festivities, the 5.2 update has brought dynamic new content in spades. New items, long-awaited system changes and new locations are all on the cards. Check out what’s in store:

## Key Features

Class Change System - The anticipated new Class Change System affords more fickle players the chance for a career change. For those who’ve grown tired of their chosen class, all it takes is the Chest of Gospels or some Diamonds to mix things up. After all, variety is the spice of life.

Ancient Tower - The 5.2 update's flagship feature, the Ancient Tower, is a place for players to explore and acquire items to enhance their Ancient Relic and Ancient Seals. Available to enter once a day between 10:00 - 23:00 server time, the Ancient Tower requires more than two players in party mode to enter.

Character Upgrade System - Improvements to the Character Upgrade System means that players can continue to increase their Combat Power (CP) through Divine Feather, Void Record and Costume Evolution.

Divine Feather - The Divine Feather allows wings to reach their full potential. Enhancing the Divine Feather will unlock additional elemental effects and buffs relative to tier and level.

New Mission - Upon reaching level 210, players can now undertake a new mission. Defeat monsters and collect their souls in the Void Record. Then activate the Void Record to trigger their effects depending on level.

Costume Evolution System - Spice up your wardrobe by combining three of the same type of costume to unlock extra powers. Bringing a whole new meaning to the phrase ‘looking fierce’.

Plus a level-cap increase to Master IX (a paltry level 1299), new maps, tweaks, optimisations and bug fixes await in the 5.2 Mu Origin 2 update.

Finally, the two-year anniversary celebrations kick off on 24th May. The event promises three-week login bonuses, special boss monster awards, free permanent costumes, special promotions and more rewards right up until 30th May. We love a lucrative birthday.
