It’s time to get fired up, because the latest major update for Wizard 101 is the biggest in KingsIsle Entertainment and gamigo’s partnership. Lemuria will include all the fun stuff, including new gear, a new storyline and a level cap increase. However, there are two upcoming features that transcend all others: lemurs, and puns.
The story begins with a mysterious entity, dazed and confused, seeking out the world of Lemuria. The problem is that there is no such world. This launches the player into an investigation to uncover a historic crime replete with mystery and intrigue. Only, spoiler alert: Lemuria exists, because we have a screenshot.
“I feel like I say this each time we launch a major update to Wizard101, but I believe Lemuria is our best yet,” says KingsIsle Entertainment Game Director Leah Ruben. “It has everything we know our players enjoy the most – including a cast of unique characters brought to life by a combination of amazing voice acting and laugh-out-loud funny dialogue. Best of all, it’s an update all players – not just those at the endgame – can enjoy, because we've added much more to the update than the new storyline!"
Wizard 101 Lemuria Key Features
The Wizard 101 Lemuria update will introduce a new story, worlds, characters, creatures, bosses, spells, items and gear, and will increase the level cap from 140 to 150. There will also, of course, be lemurs. And did we mention the puns?

A revamped Quest Journal
Improved chat and a matching quest indicator
New PvP-focussed spells, a chess-style timer for 1v1 Ranked battles and the ability to inspect opponents in the Match Results window

New Pack Preview feature
Castle Magic improvements
