Rewards aplenty await attendees of the World of Tanks birthday beach party.
What Better Way to Celebrate 12 Years of WoT than a Beach Party?
Looks like it's a hot tank summer as World of Tanks celebrates its birthday with a big beach party replete with gifts and good vibes. Who says steel-clad behemoths with treads and mounted cannons can't be beach body ready?
From August 12th to August 22nd, players can partake in a summer celebration that is probably unlike any they've had all year. in-game missions, rewards, and Anniversary Coins which can be exchanged for valuable resources are all to play for in this beach-bound bonanza to celebrate 12 years of WoT.
Simply logging in on any day between these dates will net players a free "Only Twelve" 2D style. And as an extra treat from the goody bag, players who log in for the first time on any event day will receive one day of Premium Account, which can be redeemed seven times total.
Anniversary Coins can be hoarded via daily battle missions, which can then be exchanged for bonds, Personal Reserves, crew members, Premium Account days, styles, fun customization options (which we hope will include tank-sized party horns and sunglasses), and plenty of other goodies in the "special" section of the in-game store. Large missions will also give 20 Anniversary Coins as well as the main rewards.
The World of Tanks Publishing Director, Uriy Kuryavyi, has said that it pays to visit the beach party every day (as if you needed more persuading), telling tankers: "Look out for large discounts on researchable vehicles, customization elements, equipment, consumables, Free XP and crew XP conversion, and more. On certain days, expect x2 and even x5 XP multipliers for the first win on every vehicle. World of Tanks is sure to be heating things up this summer!"
As the icing on the birthday cake, players who complete any three daily combat missions will also receive the Lago M/38 - a new, rapid-firing Tier III Swedish Premium tank. So slather on that sunscreen and get ready to celebrate 12 years of WoT with a bang.
