Albion Online's 5th Anniversary Event Will Rock Your World

Albion Online, is officially five years old. And to celebrate, an army of statues have come to life to wreak havoc on the world around them. It's certainly not a conventional birthday celebration, but what's a birthday without a bit of drama, after all?
The Living Legacy event begins today as statues built to commemorate the conquerors (AKA Season winners) of Albion's past decide that being made of solid rock isn't enough to curb their destructive ambitions.
From now until July 28, player-designed guild statues will embody the notion of a rocky relationship by turning into open-world enemies. Three different types of marauding statues will be fee-fi-fo-fuming around zones of Tier 5 or higher, each wielding different weapons and magic. These three types include:
- Construct of the Ages : Mid-level statues that won't appear on any map, but can be defeated either solo or in a small group.
- Colossus of the Ages : Higher-level statues that will appear on the map when in the same region.
- Titan of the Ages : The real threats of the open-world, visible on the world map up to three regions away. These are best demolished in a group.
Suffice to say that these new world bosses will be granting ample loot of increasing rarity to any that manage to topple them. These items will include anniversary specific items, including:
- Riding Horse Skin : Fifth-Year Horse
- Anniversary Banner : Turquoise (Furniture Item)
- Firework Launcher : Chromacannon (Vanity Weapon Skin)
- Anniversary Cake : (Consumable food item; gives +15% non-PvP Fame for 30 minutes, stackable with other foods, decays after event ends)
But that's not all of the riches to be won in the Albion Online anniversary celebrations.
Simply by logging in, players will also receive a Fifth Anniversary avatar and Fifth Anniversary Ring. Plus, by catching the Albion Online anniversary Twitch stream tomorrow Friday July 15 at 19:00 UTC, viewers will get the chance to win a Fifth Anniversary Carpet via Twitch drops.
