If you’re looking to work in a highly anticipated upcoming MMORPG, Ashes of Creation jobs are up for grabs.
Watch: Ashes of Creations Jobs Announced in Latest Livestream Alongside UI Showcase
This month's Ashes of Creation livestream just dropped, and the Intrepid team invited their lead UI/UX designer along for a deep-dive on the progress of the user interface. It's no showcase of archetypical powers, but it's well worth a watch for any raid-lovers who wish to optimize their screens for the heat of battle. Plus, the team called out to anyone who may be looking for Ashes of Creation jobs as part of the latest recruitment drive.
The UI is an especially important feature in MMOs. Depending on one's preferred role, the ability to keep track of the party's status, or quickly access a sequence of damage-dealing abilities is paramount when tackling a particularly formidable raid boss. Which is why Intrepid have made UI customizability a key goal when designing the interface.
This priority extends to accessibility within Ashes of Creation. The goal is to ensure that, on release, the UI can be customized to suit as many visual needs as possible, including colorblind people and anyone that requires larger icons to interact with.
Preferred layouts are also saveable, meaning that the changes need only be made once before saving it to an account, and can be assigned to certain circumstances. Such as a specific UI layout for raiding, for example.
The UI at a glance looks pretty polished as the team showcased dialogue trees, the character screen (which will feature a "paper doll" of how your character looks alongside equipable items and their stats), and the quest UI. And it is another hopeful sign that Ashes of Creation is well on its way to a full release.
Along with the showcase came another callout to anyone looking for Ashes of Creation jobs as the team embarks on its latest round of recruitment. Anybody looking should get in touch with the team ASAP in order to be in with a chance of helping along one of the most anticipated MMOs in development.
