The ubiquitous Amazon Prime subscription service is dishing out a mountain of free Prime Day games. While Prime members are already used to receiving a monthly allocation of games and in-game loot, now's their chance to rake in even more. Although the clock is ticking.
From right now until tomorrow July 13, the selection of Prime Day games are pretty impressive. Prime Day is renowned for offering some pretty hefty bargains on fancy electronics. Only instead of spending a little less money on gimmicky homeware, gamers spend nothing at all.
These titles are Mass Effect Legendary Edition – which includes the award-winning Mass Effect trilogy – GRID Legends, Need for Speed Heat, Star Wars Jedi Knight – Jedi Academy, Star Wars Jedi Knight II – Jedi Outcast, and Star Wars Republic Commando.
Not only that, but gamers can also stock up on a whopping 25 indie games as part of the special day. These include Death Squared, Fatal Fury Special, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, Gone Viral, HUE, Metal Slug 2, Pumped BMX Pro, Samurai Shodown II, The Darkside Detective, The King of Fighters 2002, and many more.
As for our favorite, decidedly more multiplayer titles, Prime members have the rest of the month to indulge in some substantial perks:
- The Fall Guys Summertime Activities Bundle includes a Baseball Glove, Safety Ring and Popcorn Pattern.
- Pokémon Go is offering the imaginatively named Prime Gaming Bundle #4 which contains 30x Poké Balls, 5x Max Revive, and 1x Lucky Egg.
- The Elder Scrolls Online is awarding Prime members a Cliff Ram Pack, which includes a mount, markings and two Crown Crates.
It's worth noting that if you're feeling excluded from the Prime membership hype, anyone can sign up now for a 30-day free trial. If you then feel that you've extracted all the value you can from those 30 free days, there's always the chance to cancel. Good luck completing the Mass Effect trilogy in 30 days, though.
