The steady stream of new Genshin Impact content continues.
Genshin Impact Update 2.5 Introduces Whole Worlds of Content

Brand new content is just around the corner in Genshin Impact Update 2.5 - “When the Sakura Bloom”. With it comes the typical bevy of new content, including a new threat in the recently opened Enkanomiya area and a brand new companion in the form of Yae Miko.
As usual, the new threats keep coming (and they don’t stop coming), this time as part of the seasonal “Three Realms Gateway Offering” event. Within it, players will face off against a sinister and mysterious force, being continually subjected to a corrosive darkness that only a special gadget, the Bokuso Box, can stifle.
Rewards for the event will include Primogems and the new four-star catalyst weapon, Oathsworn Eye. Players will have the duration of version 2.5 to explore and reap these rewards. Which, given the frequency of Genshin Impact updates, perhaps isn’t very long at all.
Of course, with new content comes new allies. This time, Yae Miko is set to join the team as a five-star Electro Catalyst user. Her Elemental Skill and Elemental burst can provide constant damage off-field as well as high burst damage on-field.
Also being added is the “Divine Ingenuity” event, which will allow players to create their very own domain. Participants will be able to customise these domains with various terrains, mechanisms, traps, buffs and completion criteria, and then open it up to other players to have a punt.
Finally, a formidable new Trounce Domain opponent has emerged as Raiden Shogun’s Story Quest continues, bringing a new level of combat mechanics to challenge players.
When the Sakura Bloom is set to land on 16th February, giving Travellers plenty of time to get their affairs in order ahead of the newest update.
