GTA Online Short Trips are two-player story-based co-op missions.
GTA Online Reunites Franklin, Lamar, & Dr Dre
A new GTA Online content update has landed and features main character Franklin up to one of his post-game hijinks. Specifically, his enterprising friend Lamar has a new business venture up his sleeve. But just because it's legal doesn’t mean it won’t involve some of that classic GTA high-octane trouble.
Short Trips sees Lamar ‘LD’ Davis teaming up with a man so rich and settled he shouldn’t be doing this stuff anymore, Franklin, in order to sell above-board greenery and paraphernalia. Did you know that stuff is mostly legal in America now?
However, if there’s one thing worse than illicit violent drug dealers, it’s tax evaders. And legalisation doesn’t mean that the black market isn’t now rife with these sneaky weasels undercutting Lamar’s business venture. Needless to say, it’s time to enlist the help of his longtime friend in order to iron out the creases of his newest endeavour.
Quests will include gun-mounted car chases, a spot of farm-based arson and none other than Dr Dre during the final chapters.
Short Trips is available via the Jobs Menu and will allow players to assume control of Lamar and Franklin in a two-player story-based co-op mission. And by jumping in right now, players can reap 2x GTA$ and RP until tomorrow.
The new GTA Online content will also feature a brand new song, Let’s Get It’ by NEZ and ScHoolboy Q, which will feature on the airwaves of Radio Los Santos” and will land soon on music download and streaming services via CircoLoco Records.
