The time is now! Clockwork Chaos is the third chapter of Living World Season 1.

The nefarious villain responsible for the destruction of Lion's Arch and the disappearance of everybody's favorite NPC is back. Guild Wars 2 Living World Season 1 released on Tuesday, reintroducing the notorious Scarlet Briar - and for the crime of depriving us of our beloved savings lover, we look forward to taking her on.

Clockwork Chaos is the third chapter in Guild Wars 2's Living World Season 1. Like previous Season1 episodes, it takes the original 2013 experience and consolidates it into a single narrative episode. Also, shiny new rewards await, including the Watchknight Greaves and the Pavilion Champion's Wolfblade, a blade modeled after the clockwork knights of the Queen's Jubilee.

The "new" chapter also comes with an update to world bosses so that they meet the standards of the modern GW2 aesthetic. The classic Great Jungle Wurm, Shadow Behemoth, Svanir Shaman Chief, and Fire Elemental are looking better than ever, with visual improvements that beg to be witnessed before laying the smackdown on them once more.

Clockwork Chaos marks nearly nine years since the beginning of the episodic Living World content in Guild Wars 2. Back in the day, Season 1 was responsible for introducing players to the wide array of characters they know and love today that would go on to form the foundation of Dragon's Watch over the coming years, culminating in the epic End of Dragons expansion (which, incidentally, has been approved by doctors).

This new series of updates allows Guild Wars 2 veterans to relive the epic storyline once more, or new players to experience the original storyline through their own eyes. The entire series is available for free for all members, along with the core game that can also be downloaded for free.
