More Mad World bosses and dungeons have been developed as we anticipate a final release date.
Horrifying Mad World Bosses Emerge in Latest Post-CBT Updates
Mad World, the anticipated 2D dark fantasy MMO from Korean developer Jandisoft, recently underwent another closed beta test. The results yielded more of the good stuff (dungeons and distinctive Mad World bosses). But, more importantly, it brought Mad World one step closer to a final release date.
Hardcore dark fantasy MMORPG, Mad World - Age of Darkness, has garnered a lot of support in no small part due to its original art style which depicts accursed post-apocalyptic landscapes and the horrifying creatures that thrive there.
Which is why fans will be somewhat perversely heartened by the news that a brand new beastie has joined the unholy gallery of Mad World bosses. Okeanous will be rearing its exceptionally ugly head in the new Annihilation Dungeon - Mutation Attack Site.
Changes have also been made to existing dungeons such as alterations to monster placement and dungeon mechanics. These will include the Act 4 main dungeon, Temple of Memory, and the Act 5 main dungeon, White Knot Cave. New field monsters have also been added to Acts 4 and 5 alongside a flurry of new quests, improvements, and bug fixes.
One of the main developments to come out of the latest official notice, however, was an update on the projected Mad World release date. Though we were bitterly disappointed to learn that one internet sleuth's release date theory based on a promotional image ultimately came to naught, an official statement by Jandisoft states:
"We plan to pre-register and release within the first half of this year. Please keep your eyes open for more information on our official website and community."
Without a specific date to speak of, staying on top of the Mad World development process is best done via Twitter and YouTube, or by joining the community via the website... should the prospect of delving into a post-apocalyptic hellscape replete with horrifying creatures and world bosses appeal, that is.
