The latest RuneScape Ninja Strike updates farming, brings a new Treasure Hunter and crowns the Zamorak FashionScape winner.
Shurikens Away in the Latest RuneScape Ninja Strike
The latest RuneScape Ninja Strike just dropped, bringing with it a slew of slick quality of life improvements, a new Treasure Hunter, and nifty updates for farming and Pyramid Plunder. Plus, the snazziest hero in all of Gielinor has been crowned as part of the Zamorak fashion contest.
In fact, this latest RuneScape Ninja Strike is all about good looks, as the newest Treasure Hunter, Academy of Heroes, offers Cosmetic Ability Overrides for the first time. To earn these alongside other PvM rewards never seen before in a Treasure Hunter promotion, players must carry out the familiar task of slaying monsters for loot.
Monsters can be damaged (and eventually slain) by using Keys, with each one doling out rewards and levels. There's a chance to snag the Cosmetic Ability Overrides with every loot drop, and will include Overrides for Hurricane and Dragonbreath. Academy of Heroes launches this Thursday 21st July.
Meanwhile, patches have brought wandering Leprechauns and Farmers to a standstill, as they no longer walk around and get in the way. Leprechauns also confirm successful noting of produce by using items with an infobox while Farmers now offer items for sale in a Shop rather than through dialogue.
Pyramid Plunder has also received some TLC, with all four entrances now leading to the Guardian Mummy instead of a potentially empty tomb. Players with 41+ Thieving are now also stealthy enough to sidestep any random acts of violence from the Guardian Mummy.
Finally, a group of fashionistas has been up to a different kind of 'slaying' in the Zamorak FashionScape Contest, with Zoidberg26 defying their own username and clinching the top spot as the most fashionable of over 500 participants. For their efforts, they will be receiving a 20th Anniversary Book, King Black Dragon Brick Building Set & 3 Bonds. Not bad for a day's modeling.
These updates are just the tip of the shuriken, however. So to clue up on all the details of the latest RuneScape Ninja Strike, check out the official RuneScape news page.
