Trove’s Sunrise update introduces a shiny new class, biome, phoenix and more.
Rise and Shine with the Latest Trove Console Update
Trove is a real tour de force when it comes to thinking up inventive classes. And the latest Trove console update is a shining example of that - quite literally. The Sunrise update introduces the new Solarion class along with a revamp of the Shadow Hunter and a new season of Bomber Royale.
The Solarion class is a real ray of sunshine working in service of the Sun Goddess. With the power of their luminous bow and a pet phoenix, Solarions can deploy both ranged and melee attacks in the heat of battle. The Phoenix Radiance passive ability, meanwhile, offers a buff to their attacks.
Living up to its mythological origins, the phoenix pet is difficult to kill. When the Solarion finds that its feathered friend is downed in battle, they need only wait until a self-healing egg spawns, regains health, then explodes to reveal the very same phoenix ready to take on the world once more.
The latest Trove console update also introduces a brand new biome in the form of the Sundered Uplands. It can be found by players who have reached Uber-1 Adventure Worlds, though it is more likely to be found in Uber-7 Adventure Worlds.
The Sundered Uplands consist of two distinct levels, both are inhabited by reckless Irradiant Sky Giants, whose attempts to steal the lands from below have resulted in the creation of the Ashes Wastes, and the formidable creatures they harbour. Visitors, prepare for a significant challenge.
But there is no light without shadow, and in honour of this, the Shadow Hunter class has also received an overhaul. Now blessed with divine light from the Sky Realm's Radiant Ruins, the Shadow Hunter has been granted a new passive ability and a new Sacred Arrow Ultimate Ability. This new move releases an arrow of pure energy to pierce through targets and blocks to deal 300% damage every 0.5 seconds for 7.5 seconds.
Finally, the release of the Sunrise update also brings Season 4 of Bomber Royale. New maps, bombs, rewards, private match options, and a new queue system await.
The latest Trove console update can be enjoyed by PlayStation and Xbox players as of right now, while those on Nintendo Switch will have to wait a little longer.
