The latest Lost Ark update is also crammed full of content and quality of life improvements.

Despite having our collective attention torn between Elden Ring and Lost Ark in recent months, the latter has something of an advantage in its ability to pump fresh content into the game. And the latest Lost Ark update is certainly something to get excited about. “Battle for the Throne of Chaos” brings quality of life improvements, bug fixes and a slew of content updates including the introduction of the impressive Glaivier class.

The Glaivier already wins kudos for using the smartest weapon on the battlefield. Why get up close and personal to a rampaging enemy when you can keep them at bay with a pointy pole? It’s a tactic so foolproof that the Glaivier wields two such weapons: a glaive and a spear.

The Glaivier can switch between two skill sets: Focus and Flurry. In Focus stance, she concentrates on wielding the shorter spear in a furious barrage. Whilst the flurry stance unleashes the power of the glaive with lethal grace. Needless to say, working effectively with the Glaivier requires balance between the two stances.

The latest Lost Ark update also brings a brand new continent to Arkesia. South Vern is a technological wonder whose abundant landscape brings all new characters and quests aplenty. An epic battle with the potential to shift the future of Arkesia itself awaits those that engage with the South Vern storyline. The new continent requires an item level of 1340 to begin, however.

Two new progression events, the Feiton Powerpass and Express Mission Event will also be running from now until 30th June. These will allow players to fast-track their alts and help newer players catch up to their friends as efficiently as possible.
