The Dragonbone Vale module concludes with an intense boss battle with an ancient red dragon.
Neverwinter Dragonbone Vale Reaches a Fiery Conclusion
Neverwinter’s 22nd module, Dragonbone Vale, is coming to a tumultuous end with the arrival of the Scaleblight Mythal Epic Adventure. The notorious Valindra Shadowmantle’s scheme to bring undeath to all dragons within Faerûn has nearly reached its zenith. And it’s up to players to put a stop to this badass plan like the killjoys they are.
Dragonbone Vale has seen the heroes of **Neverwinter **deploy their strength, wits and newfangled grappling hooks to help stifle the nefarious mission of Shadowmantle and the Cult of the Dragon, who have come into possession of an ancient artefact with the potential to amplify rituals of undeath.
A new Adventure Zone and campaign has introduced four allied factions and four distinct regions of the Sword Mountains: Whitestone Thicket, Quellwater Tarn, Wyrmbone Marrows and Scaleblight summit - the final stage upon which the latest update is set.
In this final region, players will need to team up with members of the Shield of the North Alliance and bring the Dragonbone Vale module to its epic conclusion. The final Heroic Encounter, Scales to Bones, will feature an ancient Red Dragon, AKA one of the biggest boss battles in D&D. But at least you know the rewards will be extra juicy.
PC players can dive into the climactic update as of right now, whereas console players must wait until 1st March. Although with console players being just a week into the new module, we’d say that’s ample time to catch up.
Additionally, the whole month of February will feature no item level restrictions to enter the new adventure zone. Meaning players of all item levels can enter and run riot in the Sword Coast.
